A nonprofit cooperative developer dedicated to empowering low-income communities of color in Richmond and surrounding areas to build wealth. Since our founding in October 2017, we provide cooperative business education, training, mentorship, and financial support.
As part of a national movement focusing on cooperative initiatives, our goal is to enable Richmond's marginalized residents to create community-controlled wealth and wellbeing. We help workers set up businesses they own and operate, offering support within a network committed to economic democracy and facilitating a just transition.
