A non-profit organization serving over 2000 children, adults, and seniors with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries each week. We were founded by Janet Pomeroy in 1952. Currently, over 200 full- and part-time employees provide therapeutic recreation, vocational rehabilitation, transportation, and respite care services at our 5-1/2 acre site off Skyline Boulevard, between the San Francisco Zoo and Lake Merced. Our facilities include program rooms, a therapeutic swimming pool, gymnasium, computer lab, kitchen, stage and multipurpose room, playground, day camp, and community garden center.
