|quote||The half-life [of triclopyr] in soil is from 30 to 90 days, depending on soil type and environmental conditions, with an average of about 46 days. The half-life of one of the breakdown products (trichloro-pyridinol) in 15 soils ranged from 8- 279 days with 12 of the tested soils having half-lives of less than 90 days. Longer half-lives occur in cold or arid conditions.|
