Advocates for social justice by fostering and supporting a network of strategic relationships with community based and youth organizations. The SRN provides resources, technical assistance, legislative information, and facilitates collaborations, networking and communication amongst community based organization.
Purpose is to carry on the rich legacy of Bay Area activism, to promote and develop active leadership for the future, to encourage and increase civic participation through education, advocacy, and organizing, and to facilitate networking, resource sharing, and outreach.
