Works to improve the quality of life and quality of care of people living in nursing homes, residential care homes and assisted living facilities. The Ombudsman Program receives, responds to and investigates complaints made by residents, family members and anybody else concerned about the well being of a resident. In addition, the Ombudsman Program provides consultation and education to the residents and the public regarding resident rights and good care practices.
