Mission is to promote the empowerment of women in South Asian community to confront and overcome the cycles of violence and exploitation. We work to build a movement to end violence against women and to actively support women’s rights as human rights.

Founded in 1992, NARIKA embraces the ideal of women’s empowerment, by addressing the needs of abused South Asian women by providing advocacy, support, information, and referrals within a culturally sensitive model, which includes treating the women who seek our services as sisters rather than as clients.
