An umbrella organization of all the groups who have joined forces to campaign for justice for the gas survivors of Bhopal, India, where thousands died in 1984 from a Union Carbide (now Dow Chemical) leak of the poisonous gas methyl isocyanate. The ICJB is spearheaded by survivors (the Bhopal Gas Peedit Mahila Stationery Karmachari Sangh) and long-time supporters like the Bhopal Group for Information & Action, both Bhopal-based, and both plaintiffs in the ongoing Class Action suit in New York.
