Provides annual grants to scholars and artists using their intellect, creativity, and compassion to build a deeper understanding of human–animal relationships and a greater respect for animal rights. CAF also hosts the Annual Tom Regan Memorial Lecture, sponsors the Tom Regan Visiting Research Fellowship at North Carolina State University, and has hosted a festival of arts and scholarship.
