Subject: Greywater Action presents a 1-day greywater reuse workshop in San Francisco - Sat 11/7
Many of you have previously taken the rain-harvesting workshop. Here's an opportunity to get deeper into saving water...
Greywater is an incredibly importance resource to tap into, particularly in the Bay Area, where it doesn't rain year round. Learn hands-on, how to install a legal greywater system using greywater from a washing machine in a single family home.
Most of our workshops are in the east bay so, if you live on this side of
the bay, it's a good option. This is kind of short notice, please help
us spread the word!
We need 6 more people to make the class.

Participants will learn how to safely divert... household greywater from
the sewer to the garden, and install a "laundry-to-landscape" greywater system that uses the washing machine's internal pump to send greywater to the garden.
The class will cover:
* greywater principles and simple systems for showers, sinks, and the washing machine
* the best plants to water with greywater
* basic plumbing
* common pitfalls and how to avoid them
* how to install a system that is legal under the new California code.
Location: San Francisco, CA
Time: 11 am - 4 pm Saturday, November 7
Cost: $30 to $100 sliding scale
